The Colorado Rockies' Opening Day is Friday, April 4th, 2025, at Coors Field in Downtown Denver. They play the Athletics at 2:10 PM MDT.
Throughout the weekend, they’ll play the Athletics two more times on April 5th at 6:10 PM and April 6th at 1:10 PM.

The Colorado Rockies play home games at Coors Field at 2001 Blake Street. Coors Field is in Denver’s popular Lower Downtown (LoDo) neighborhood. It’s close to many attractions, including the popular Union Station, which is just two blocks away.

You can’t go wrong with a delicious brunch before game day, and there are many great brunch spots in Denver. Two of our favorite brunch restaurants in Downtown Denver near Coors Field are Snooze and Onefold.
Snooze, an A.M. Eatery is a popular diner with a lively atmosphere. Their expansive menu includes classic favorites, unique dishes, and many drink options. There are several locations, including one across from Union Station.
Onefold is another tasty breakfast spot that also has a location at Union Station. Their menu features made-from-scratch dishes that combine global and local flavors. They also serve delicious cocktails.
Not only can you dine at Union Station, but it’s also a fun place to drink, shop, and people-watch.
Union Station is a renovated historic train station where many people gather. You can find boutiques, specialty retailers, a coffee shop, restaurants, and bars. It’s a great spot to spend a couple of hours, take pictures, and hang out.
River North Art District (RiNo) is one of Denver’s trendiest neighborhoods, and it’s a fun place to spend a few hours exploring.
RiNo covers about a mile along Larimer, Walnut, and Blake Streets, which run parallel to each other on the other side of Downtown Denver. The area is walkable, which is ideal for checking out art galleries, street art, shops, restaurants, breweries, and bars.
If you enjoy beer, you’ll love taking a brewery tour in the Mile High City. Denver’s beer scene is one of the best in the U.S., with over a hundred breweries, pubs, and taprooms.
You can take a self-guided tour using the Denver Beer Trail and its interactive map. You could also join a guided brewery tour with Denver Microbrew Tour, which offers various options to explore the best of Denver’s beer while learning about local culture, history, and breweries.

The Sklar Brothers have been on several TV shows and movies, including Grey’s Anatomy and Teacher of the Year. They also have two comedy specials.
Comedy Works is located less than a mile from Coors Field, so you can hang out in the area before having a laugh with The Sklar Brothers.
