How the Wine Bath Works
Inside your private spa suite, the large tub is filled with a grape-derived botanical infusion curated by our in-house herbalist. The blend combines four thoughtfully selected ingredients for a luxurious soak with delicate floral and herbal aromas.
As you settle into the warm water, thousands of tiny bubbles gently surround your body, creating a soothing hydrotherapy experience that's both calming and immersive.
Despite the name, you aren’t soaking in drinkable wine. Like our original beer bath, the herbal infusion is never fermented. The wine bath is one of the infusion options available with every Oakwell Beer Spa experience. Simply let our staff know your preference when you arrive, and we'll prepare your soak before your session begins.

Together, our wine bath ingredients turn a warm soak into a full sensory experience. Grape skin powder is naturally rich in polyphenols, while tulsi adds another source of naturally occurring antioxidants. Rose petals and tulsi create a floral, herbal aroma that’s incredibly relaxing, and flaked oats can help soften skin. Unwind in the warm water, breathe in the botanical scents, and leave with soft, refreshed skin.

There are no rules for how you enjoy your private suite, but we recommend following this sequence to get the most out of your experience.

Cleaning & Sanitization
Our private spa suites are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between every reservation, so you can relax with complete peace of mind.
We schedule ample time between appointments to clean and disinfect each suite from top to bottom. Our hydrotherapy tubs are completely drained, disinfected, and refilled with fresh water after every guest.
Floors, seating, showers, tubs, and all high-touch surfaces are cleaned using EPA-registered disinfectants. Our commercial HVAC system also provides rapid fresh-air turnover throughout the space.
By the time your reservation begins, your suite is sanitized and prepared to feel like you're the very first guests to enjoy it.

The Beer Therapy Ritual includes 90-minute access to a private spa suite including your own personal therapeutic herbal bath, infrared sauna, and rain shower. Your beer bath will start to drain 70-minutes after your appointment start time leaving you 20 minutes to shower, gather your belongings, dress and exit the room. Listed rate covers access for up to two people. Beverages and enhancements sold separately.
The 90-minute Couple's Retreat package is one of our guest favorite. Enjoy your own romantic spa suite decorated with rose petals, candles, and artisan chocolate bonbons. Your beer bath will start to drain 70-minutes after your appointment start time leaving you 20 minutes to shower, gather your belongings, dress and exit the room. Beverages are sold separately.
The 90-minute Oakwell Escape package is our guest favorite. Enjoy your own romantic private spa suite decorated with rose petals and candles. Graze on a bountiful charcuterie board that includes a curated assortment of cured meats, fine cheeses, fresh fruits, and olives. Savor a selection of artisan chocolate bonbons from a local chocolatier. Melt your stress away during a 30-minute Zero Gravity Massage experience. Your beer bath will start to drain 70-minutes after your appointment start time leaving you 20 minutes to shower, dress, gather your belongings, and exit the room. Complimentary craft beverages upon check-in are included with this package. Additional beverages are sold separately.
The Garage Party package offers a spa day for up to four people. We’ll merge two private spa suites via a connected door to create a larger space with two therapeutic herbal baths, two saunas, and two showers. Up to 4 people can detox in the two adjoining saunas, take a cold rain shower to keep your blood flowing, then enjoy the benefits of a bubbly beer infused therapeutic bath. Keep in mind that Oakwell Beer Spa isn’t a loud party spot but rather a calm space to unwind. Your beer bath will start to drain 70-minutes after your appointment start time, leaving you 20 minutes to shower, dress, gather your belongings, and exit the room. Beverages are sold separately.

This place was better than expected. I knew it would be something fun to do with a friend coming into town and it was the perfect hangover remedy from our concert. Private, clean, good service, good products, good drinks. The only thing that caught me off guard was the massage. We both thought they were massages done by a massage therapist but it was a massage chair. We booked an hour and then downgraded to 30 mins when we learned this. That being said the zero gravity massage chair was the best massage from a chair either of us has ever had. Pleasantly surprised. Would recommend to friends and the gift card would be an amazing gift
My husband and I went here for our 15 year anniversary and did one of the packages. Taiya was exceptional! It was our first time and she went through everything thoroughly and made sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend this place if you want to leave there feeling a new level of relaxation.
**** I am editing my original post**** my original had the employee’s name which was pretty harsh. In reading my post, I realized the tone was much more harsh than I intended it to be. Since posting, the beerspa 100% made a hiccup of a situation better. I still think a buzzer going off multiple times should be addressed and I fully expect it was addressed based off of the quick response time from management. However, I am impressed by how the team handled the situation. Changing my review from 3 to 5 stars and look forward to another return in the future. I hate to post this review because I genuinely love the beer spa. We pressed the button numerous times for service during our spa experience and the guy upfront I guess kept turning off the bell…. We were told the bell was missed. There’s only two reasons a bell would go off and both need attention… One would be an emergency and one is for service. I would 100% recommend the beer spa, but this experience was subpar for the money.

I just had my very first spa experience at Oakwell Beer Spa, and it was absolutely top-notch! I experienced the private spa room—which features a sauna, hot tub, and cold shower—and paired it with a chair massage. Both were incredibly relaxing. Oakwell truly thought of every detail, providing reusable insulated cups, drinks on tap, snacks and plush robes. The private room itself is stunning with custom tile and wallpaper. A flawless, lovely experience from start to finish!
We attended a friend's party at Oakwell this past week and had the best time! The spa/soaking/sauna experience, and the massage chairs were wonderful! The local beers and non-alcoholic beverage selection was terrific. And the Oakwell staff is top-notch - professional, friendly, attentive. I highly recommend Oakwell!

Incredible! Each time I leave Oakwell, I'm a noodle. It's such an escape and sanctuary from the noise of the outside world. The therapy rooms offer privacy and complete relaxation with whomever you choice to share the experience. Floating out of the therapy room, I love to relax with another beverage in the lounge before getting a massage in a zero gravity massage chair which are the best kept secret in town... The chairs give the best butt massage EVER. :) The spa smells amazing with their signature scent. I can't resist taking home a candle each time I visit. Denver is lucky to have such an extraordinary small business.

My husband and I booked this for our date night. From the beginning when we walked in, it felt like a luxury spa. Staff were very nice and attentive. The seating area was lovely. Once we went to out person suite we were shocked at how amazing it looked. There was even a questions pamphlet so we could ask each other fun questions while relaxing in the sauna. We planned our next visit while in the suite. We even stayed a bit longer in the lounge after out time was over in the suite and played another questions game they had, and the whole time sipping on beer. Such a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend!

What’s a wine bath, and is it the same as vinotherapy?
A wine bath is a warm, bubbling soak inspired by vinotherapy, a spa practice from France’s Bordeaux wine region that uses grape-derived ingredients instead of wine. Ours is prepared fresh in your own Private Spa Suite.
What are the benefits of vinotherapy?
A wine bath relaxes you and leaves your skin feeling soft. Grape skin powder brings polyphenols, the antioxidants at the heart of vinotherapy; flaked oats soften the water; rose petals and tulsi add a light floral scent. The warm, bubbling water does the rest, easing tight muscles while you soak.
Is the wine bath made with real wine?
No. There’s no wine, alcohol or yeast in the tub, and nothing is fermented, so you won’t leave smelling like a wine cellar.
Beer bath or wine bath, which should I choose?
It’s a matter of scent. A beer bath and a wine bath give you the same suite and the same 90 minutes; one smells of hops and malt, earthy and classic, the other of grapes and rose, softer and floral. You can smell both infusions at check-in. Each suite gets one tub, so many guests try the other one next time.
Can a group book the wine bath?
Yes. The Garage Party joins two Private Spa Suites, so your group gets two tubs and can pick a different infusion for each, wine in one and beer in the other. If your group is bigger than the Garage Party fits, our team can plan a private party.
Is a wine bath a good idea for date night?
Yes. One tub is prepared for the two of you, and the suite is yours alone for 90 minutes, with no shared sauna or shower, which makes it a private date night without the noise of a busy restaurant. Add sparkling wine or a charcuterie board when you book.
Is a wine bath a good way to celebrate an anniversary?
Yes. The Couple’s Retreat dresses your suite with candles, rose petals and artisan chocolate bonbons, the Oakwell Escape adds charcuterie, a welcome drink and two Zero Gravity Massages, and you can add a “Happy Anniversary” banner when you book. A private soak for two is one of the quieter ways to celebrate an anniversary.
Can I have a drink while I soak?
Yes. Pour a drink in the taproom and bring it into your suite in the insulated tumbler we give you at check-in, then ring the room service bell for a refill. Alcohol is for guests 21 and up with a valid ID, and there are plenty of non-alcoholic options.
Is the wine bath OK if I’m pregnant or have a health condition?
Ask your doctor first. The wine bath is a warm soak, and heat treatments generally aren’t recommended during pregnancy; if your doctor gives the okay, your Beer Therapist can lower the water temperature. Talk to your doctor first, too, if you have heart disease, blood pressure problems or another health condition.
How much does a wine bath cost?
It’s an upgrade on any Private Spa Suite package, and packages start at $199 per suite for one or two guests. The right package for a wine bath depends on the occasion, from a simple soak to a full date night.
