Soak in a spacious, rectangular hydrotherapy tub filled with a meticulously crafted blend of hops, barley, and herbs. The herbal beer bath blend is curated by our in-house Herbalist.
Enjoy thousands of tiny, relaxing bubbles from the tub's air bubbler system surrounding your body in a beer-like fizz.
Oakwell Beer Spa’s beer baths are unfermented and never contain yeast. It’s like a massive beer tea, except you soak in it instead of sipping it. Not to worry – we also have craft beer for you to drink while you relax.

Cleaning & Sanitization
We understand that a large part of relaxing is feeling confident that you're in a clean and sanitized environment. That's why we leave ample time between each Private Spa Suite appointment to allow enough time for our staff to thoroughly clean and disinfect each room from top to bottom.
Our sanitization process includes draining, disinfecting, and refilling the hydrotherapy tubs with fresh, new water between each use. We also wipe down all floors, surfaces, and high-touch areas with EPA-registered household disinfectants. Our commercial HVAC system ensures the quick turnover of fresh, filtered air.
When you step into your Private Spa Suite, we promise you'll feel like you're the first one using it.

The Beer Therapy Ritual includes 90-minute access to a private spa suite including your own personal therapeutic herbal bath, infrared sauna, and rain shower. Your beer bath will start to drain 70-minutes after your appointment start time leaving you 20 minutes to shower, gather your belongings, dress and exit the room. Listed rate covers access for up to two people. Beverages and enhancements sold separately.
The 90-minute Couple's Retreat package is one of our guest favorite. Enjoy your own romantic spa suite decorated with rose petals, candles, and artisan chocolate bonbons. Your beer bath will start to drain 70-minutes after your appointment start time leaving you 20 minutes to shower, gather your belongings, dress and exit the room. Beverages are sold separately.
The 90-minute Oakwell Escape package is our guest favorite. Enjoy your own romantic private spa suite decorated with rose petals and candles. Graze on a bountiful charcuterie board that includes a curated assortment of cured meats, fine cheeses, fresh fruits, and olives. Savor a selection of artisan chocolate bonbons from a local chocolatier. Melt your stress away during a 30-minute Zero Gravity Massage experience. Your beer bath will start to drain 70-minutes after your appointment start time leaving you 20 minutes to shower, dress, gather your belongings, and exit the room. Complimentary craft beverages upon check-in are included with this package. Additional beverages are sold separately.
The Garage Party package offers a spa day for up to four people. We’ll merge two private spa suites via a connected door to create a larger space with two therapeutic herbal baths, two saunas, and two showers. Up to 4 people can detox in the two adjoining saunas, take a cold rain shower to keep your blood flowing, then enjoy the benefits of a bubbly beer infused therapeutic bath. Keep in mind that Oakwell Beer Spa isn’t a loud party spot but rather a calm space to unwind. Your beer bath will start to drain 70-minutes after your appointment start time, leaving you 20 minutes to shower, dress, gather your belongings, and exit the room. Beverages are sold separately.

This place was better than expected. I knew it would be something fun to do with a friend coming into town and it was the perfect hangover remedy from our concert. Private, clean, good service, good products, good drinks. The only thing that caught me off guard was the massage. We both thought they were massages done by a massage therapist but it was a massage chair. We booked an hour and then downgraded to 30 mins when we learned this. That being said the zero gravity massage chair was the best massage from a chair either of us has ever had. Pleasantly surprised. Would recommend to friends and the gift card would be an amazing gift
My husband and I went here for our 15 year anniversary and did one of the packages. Taiya was exceptional! It was our first time and she went through everything thoroughly and made sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend this place if you want to leave there feeling a new level of relaxation.
**** I am editing my original post**** my original had the employee’s name which was pretty harsh. In reading my post, I realized the tone was much more harsh than I intended it to be. Since posting, the beerspa 100% made a hiccup of a situation better. I still think a buzzer going off multiple times should be addressed and I fully expect it was addressed based off of the quick response time from management. However, I am impressed by how the team handled the situation. Changing my review from 3 to 5 stars and look forward to another return in the future. I hate to post this review because I genuinely love the beer spa. We pressed the button numerous times for service during our spa experience and the guy upfront I guess kept turning off the bell…. We were told the bell was missed. There’s only two reasons a bell would go off and both need attention… One would be an emergency and one is for service. I would 100% recommend the beer spa, but this experience was subpar for the money.

I just had my very first spa experience at Oakwell Beer Spa, and it was absolutely top-notch! I experienced the private spa room—which features a sauna, hot tub, and cold shower—and paired it with a chair massage. Both were incredibly relaxing. Oakwell truly thought of every detail, providing reusable insulated cups, drinks on tap, snacks and plush robes. The private room itself is stunning with custom tile and wallpaper. A flawless, lovely experience from start to finish!
We attended a friend's party at Oakwell this past week and had the best time! The spa/soaking/sauna experience, and the massage chairs were wonderful! The local beers and non-alcoholic beverage selection was terrific. And the Oakwell staff is top-notch - professional, friendly, attentive. I highly recommend Oakwell!

Incredible! Each time I leave Oakwell, I'm a noodle. It's such an escape and sanctuary from the noise of the outside world. The therapy rooms offer privacy and complete relaxation with whomever you choice to share the experience. Floating out of the therapy room, I love to relax with another beverage in the lounge before getting a massage in a zero gravity massage chair which are the best kept secret in town... The chairs give the best butt massage EVER. :) The spa smells amazing with their signature scent. I can't resist taking home a candle each time I visit. Denver is lucky to have such an extraordinary small business.

My husband and I booked this for our date night. From the beginning when we walked in, it felt like a luxury spa. Staff were very nice and attentive. The seating area was lovely. Once we went to out person suite we were shocked at how amazing it looked. There was even a questions pamphlet so we could ask each other fun questions while relaxing in the sauna. We planned our next visit while in the suite. We even stayed a bit longer in the lounge after out time was over in the suite and played another questions game they had, and the whole time sipping on beer. Such a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend!

What does a beer bath feel like?
It feels like sinking into warm, gently bubbling water with an earthy scent of hops, barley and herbs. Because the water stays close to body temperature, a beer bath feels soothing rather than hot, and the botanicals make the water feel silky, not sticky.
Is there real beer in a beer bath?
No. There’s no beer, yeast or alcohol in the tub, and nothing is fermented. We fill it with warm water steeped with hops, malted barley and herbs, so it smells earthy and you won’t leave smelling like a brewery. Your beer stays in your glass.
What is a beer bath good for?
Mostly for relaxing. The benefits of a beer bath are the ones you can feel: warm water eases stress, tiny bubbles feel like a light massage, and floating takes pressure off your joints while tight muscles loosen.
Is bathing in beer good for your skin?
Many guests say their skin feels soft afterward, but a beer bath is a way to relax, not a skin treatment. Hops and barley are common ingredients in beer-based skin and hair care. If you have sensitive skin, keep your time in the tub short and rinse off in the rain shower.
How long is the experience?
Every package, starting with the Beer Therapy Ritual, gives you 90 minutes in your Private Spa Suite. The bath starts to drain at the 70-minute mark, leaving 20 minutes to shower and dress. Check in 30 minutes early to pour a drink; most guests stay two and a half to three hours, taproom included.
How much does a beer bath cost?
It isn’t sold on its own: every Private Spa Suite package includes a beer bath. The Beer Therapy Ritual is the simplest at $199 per suite for one or two guests; the Couple’s Retreat is $259, the Oakwell Escape $349, and the Garage Party for groups starts at $450. Taproom drinks are extra, by the ounce.
What should I wear?
Comfortable street clothes for the taproom and the Zero Gravity Massage. In your Private Spa Suite, bring a swimsuit if you like; robes, slippers and towels are provided. The rest of beer spa etiquette is simple: keep the noise down and slip on your robe before you walk to the taproom.
Is it safe to drink while you soak?
Yes, in moderation. Alcohol and heat both make you lose fluids faster, so sip slowly, have water between pours and step out if you feel dizzy or lightheaded. The tub never goes above 100°F, and cold drinking water is always available.
Do you clean the tub after every guest?
Yes. After every session the tub is fully drained, cleaned, disinfected and refilled with fresh water and a fresh herbal blend, so the water is never shared or reused. Our hygiene standards cover the whole suite, with EPA-registered disinfectants on every surface guests touch.
Can I choose a wine bath instead?
Yes. The wine bath is the same warm, bubbly soak, made with grape skin powder, rose petals, tulsi and flaked oats instead of hops and barley. It’s available as an upgrade with every package. Tell the front desk when you check in, and the tub is ready when you walk into your suite.
Can I have a beer bath if I have celiac disease?
Yes. We make a gluten-free version that replaces malted barley with millet. Let us know when you book, and the team will prepare it before your suite time.
Is a beer bath safe during pregnancy or with a health condition?
Check with your doctor first. Heat treatments generally aren’t recommended during pregnancy, and if your doctor says a soak is fine, ask your Beer Therapist to lower the water temperature. The same advice applies to heart disease, blood pressure issues and other health conditions, including diabetes, implants and recent fractures.
Where did beer baths come from?
From the Czech Republic, the home of today’s beer spas. Legend has it that King Wenceslas of Bohemia loved cold baths in brewery sludge, and the history of beer spas runs from that story to beer spas across Europe and the US.
Can I book a beer bath for a group?
Yes. Private Spa Suites are made for one or two guests, so groups book the Garage Party: two suites joined by a connecting door, for three to six guests depending on the location. For a bigger group, our team can plan a private party.
