Runnin’ of the Green

When: March 9th, 2025, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Where: Washington Park, Denver

Join Denver’s 37th annual Runnin’ of the Green, a family and pet-friendly 7K and 2-mile race/walk. There’s also an early start for athletes with special needs.

Runnin’ of the Green is a fun way to get active, enjoy Irish traditions, and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The race and after-party includes:

Custom finisher medal
Group awards for the 7K and 2-mile
Live Irish music
Irish dancers
Bagpipe players
A beer garden

Talnua Distillery St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

When: March 14th & 15th, 2025; 1 to 9 PM

Where: Talnua Distillery, Arvada (11 miles NW of Downtown Denver)

Enjoy whiskey and Irish fun this St. Patrick’s Day in Denver at the Talnua Distillery St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, a two-day event with a special release whiskey.

You can also enjoy the following:

Live music
A pipe and drum band
A food truck (G Wagon on Friday and Big Belly BBQ on Saturday)

St. Patrick’s Celebration

When: March 14th - 17th, 2025

Where: FIRE at the ART Hotel, Denver

FIRE at the ART Hotel is an eclectic restaurant where you can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year. At FIRE’s festive four-day celebration, you can enjoy green beer, Irish nachos, and a fun atmosphere.

The Colorado Emerald Society, live bagpipes played by firefighters and police officers, will perform on March 15th, at 2 PM.

St. Patrick’s Day 5K

When: March 15th, 2025 at 9 AM

Where: 9352 Dorchester St, Highlands Ranch (about 20 miles south of Downtown Denver)

Get active this St. Patrick's Day at the St. Patrick's Day 5K in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Dress in green or a festive Irish costume and run or walk to the finish line. Along the way, a leprechaun will be hidden in a golden kettlebell. If you find it, you'll win $100!

At the end of the race, a refreshing beer from Living the Dream Brewing, a pancake breakfast, and fun entertainment will be waiting for you.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

When: March 15th, 2025 at 9:30 AM

Where: Downtown Denver

The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the longest-running traditions in Denver. It’s one of the most popular things to do in March, with festive floats, local celebrity appearances, live music, and dancing.

The parade starts at Wynkoop Street and 19th Avenue at Coors Field, turns SE down 17th Avenue, and then turns NE on Blake Street until 27th Avenue. The parade starts at 9:30 AM, but we recommend arriving early to avoid traffic jams and settle into your spot to watch the parade.

Get Lucked Up

When: March 15th, 2025; 9 AM to 10 PM

Where: Milepost Zero, Denver

Milepost Zero is a casual food hall in McGregor Square and the perfect place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day or stop by post-parade or race. At Get Lucked Up, you can enjoy festive drinks and live bagpipes.

Annual Olde Town Arvada St. Patrick's Day Festival

When: March 15th, 2025; 12 to 6 PM

Where: Olde Town Arvada (about 11 miles NW of Downtown Denver)

The popular Old Town Arvada St. Patrick’s Day Festival is a family-friendly event with something fun for everyone!

The street festival offers a day of celebrations with the following:

95+ vendors (food, drinks, shopping, & more)
Food trucks
A kids zone
Live performances all day

Gobs O’Phun

When: March 15th, 2025 at 8 PM

Where: Swallow Hill Music, Denver

Gobs O’Phun is a vocal duet, and their annual St. Patrick’s Day concert is back! They play traditional Irish and Scottish folk songs with various instruments, including a guitar, bodhran, and harmonica. They tell enjoyable stories through their music, and their laid-back vibes will have you jamming along and feeling good.

St Patrick’s Day Block Party & Pub Crawl

When: March 15th, 2025; check-in anytime between 1 & 4 PM

Where: Lower Downtown and River North Arts District, Denver

The St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & Pub Crawl is one of the biggest and most fun celebrations for adults. This year, the event is taking place in two popular neighborhoods: LoDo and RiNo. Spend the day and evening visiting over 20 bars and pubs, including Improper City, Federales, and The Mill.

Tickets are $14 and include exclusive drink specials and free welcome shots at select venues.

Family Day Out: St. Patty’s Day Celebration

When: March 16th, 2025; 1:30 to 3:30 PM

Where: Uncorked Kitchen & Wine Bar, Centennial (15 miles SE of Downtown Denver)

Enjoy delicious Irish food this St. Patrick’s Day in Denver at Uncorked Kitchen & Wine Bar. At Family Day Out, you’ll bake and decorate sweet treats and enjoy a classic Irish beef stew.

This is the perfect St. Patrick’s Day activity to enjoy with friends or family. Children six years and older are welcome to join, and ages 6-17 must attend with an adult.

Where: Comedy Works Denver, 1226 15th Street

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Kevin Fitzgerald and His Lucky Charms at Comedy Works Denver. Kevin Fitzgerald is a comedian best known for his sharp wit and vibrant personality. This St. Patrick’s Day, he’s bringing laughter, Irish spirit, and music with lots of jokes, Irish dancers, and traditional bagpipers.
