How to Book a Wine Bath in Denver: Prices, Packages, and What’s Included

titleBlockImage

Chances are, you’ve never tried a wine bath before. This unique experience is only available at Oakwell Beer Spa, where we bring a new spin on European-inspired vinotherapy. And no, you aren’t soaking in a Cabernet: Oakwell’s wine bath is a relaxing botanical infusion you can choose with any spa package.

You don’t have to be a wine lover to enjoy the floral, earthy scent and antioxidant-rich soak, either. Whether you’re a wine aficionado or just curious about what a wine bath is, there are a lot of benefits to Oakwell’s herbal-infused experiences.

But how do you book a wine bath, anyway? And what’s the experience like? Check out this guide to see what you can expect from the experience, from pricing and packages to how to book your spot.

What’s Included in Every Wine Bath Experience?

Oakwell’s wine baths are available with any of our spa packages. Every experience gives you 90 minutes in your own private spa suite, complete with a vinotherapy-inspired wine bath, infrared sauna, and rain shower.

And those 90 minutes are yours. There’s no therapist directing you from station to station or strangers sharing the space. You can bounce between the sauna, shower, and bath whenever you’d like, although we recommend:

  1. Warming up in the sauna: Settle in, turn up your favorite music, and sweat out the stress.
  2. Cooling down in the rain shower: A quick rinse is refreshing after a trip to the sauna, plus it will help your skin get more contact with the wine bath.
  3. Sinking into the wine bath: Your tub is prepared with a warm, grape-derived botanical infusion designed to help you relax.
  4. Enjoying your favorite drinks: Bring wine, local craft beer, or a non-alcoholic drink from the taproom. There’s even a room service bell if you’d like a refill without leaving your suite.

The bath starts draining 70 minutes into your session, which gives you 20 minutes to rinse off, get dressed, and gather your things.

Comparing Wine Baths Vs Beer Baths

Wine or beer? At Oakwell, that question applies to more than what’s in your glass.

When you check in, you’ll choose between a beer or wine-inspired herbal infusion. The difference is what goes into the water. Oakwell’s original beer bath uses a beer-inspired herbal infusion that includes hops and barley. Wine baths include ingredients like grape skin powder, tulsi, rose petals, and oats.

Both baths smell great and will leave you feeling refreshed—it just comes down to which ingredients you prefer. Better yet, you don’t have to pay extra for one over the other. Book the Oakwell package that fits your plans, then choose your preferred bath when you arrive. Your Beer Therapist will provide samples of each infusion, so follow your nose to pick the herbal blend you like best.

Just Here to Try It Out? Start With the Beer Therapy Ritual

If you’re curious about Oakwell and our wine baths, the Beer Therapy Ritual package is great for first-timers. Yes, “beer” is in the name, but you can choose a wine bath infusion if that’s more your speed. With this package, you get 90 minutes in a private spa suite with a wine bath, infrared sauna, and rain shower.

Planning a Date? Choose the Couple’s Retreat

For an extra-romantic date night, the Couple’s Retreat adds candles, rose petals, and artisan chocolate bonbons to your private suite. You still get the same 90 minutes, but with a romantic setup that makes this package a must-try for date night.

Celebrating Something? Go for the Oakwell Escape

The Oakwell Escape is our most complete package for couples. It’s great for celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, or even for a just-because date night. Along with the private wine bath experience, you’ll get romantic decor, artisan chocolate bonbons, a gourmet charcuterie board, two complimentary check-in drinks, and two 30-minute zero-gravity massage experiences.

Bringing a Few Friends? Book the Garage Party

The other Oakwell packages are for 1-2 people, but the Garage Party can accommodate you and 3-5 of your closest friends, depending on the location. The Garage Party connects two private spa suites, giving your group two baths, two infrared saunas, and two rain showers to share.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do wine baths work for couples?

Of course! All Oakwell suites can accommodate up to two guests, so you can enjoy the wine bath side-by-side with your partner. Our most popular couple’s option is the Oakwell Escape, which includes rose petals, two welcome drinks, gourmet snacks, and two zero-gravity massage experiences.

How long does a wine bath experience last?

Oakwell’s experiences last 90 minutes, but it’s smart to leave extra time before and after your session to check in, grab a drink, relax in the taproom, or add a zero-gravity massage. Most people spend about three hours at Oakwell.

How is a wine bath different from a beer bath?

The biggest difference is the herbal infusion. The wine bath uses vinotherapy-inspired ingredients like grape skin powder and tulsi, while the beer bath contains hops and barley. Otherwise, the experience is the same: both are warm botanical soaks enjoyed in a private suite with an infrared sauna and rain shower. Neither bath contains drinkable wine or beer, and choosing one over the other doesn’t change the package price.
