Some of our favorite brunch spots include:

  • Bacon Social House - A popular bacon-inspired brunch spot with various locations throughout Denver (days and times vary by location)
  • Wilde - A brunch restaurant with Southern California coastal dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options, with brunch from Thursdays through Sundays from 10 AM to 3 PM

Get Crafty at Upstairs Circus

If you’re looking for creative things to do in Denver during the week, look no further than Upstairs Circus in Denver’s Lower Downtown (LoDo) area.

You can choose your craft from a project menu that includes home decor, pet accessories, and jewelry. There’s also a bar, so you can enjoy drinks while getting crafty.

Visit Four Mile Historic Park

Four Mile Historic Park is one of Denver's most unique historical sites. The 12-acre park has an 1800s log cabin, a working farm, and the Four Mile House Museum, Denver’s oldest standing structure.

At Four Mile Historic Park, you can escape the city’s hustle, appreciate the tranquil environment, and stroll the grounds. Explore on your own or take a guided tour, which is included in the admission cost. You can also take a break and enjoy a picnic.

The park is only open on weekends from January through May. However, it’s open Wednesday through Sunday from June through December from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Read at Petals & Pages

Petals & Pages is a bookstore in the Santa Fe Art District that specializes in queer and feminist books. It’s also a flower shop and community space that hosts various monthly book clubs and other fun events, like writing and flower arrangement workshops.

  • Millers & Rossi - A dimly lit lounge with delicious cocktails, small plates, and live music with happy hour on Friday from 5 to 7 PM
  • The Copper Lounge - An elegant cocktail bar in the Denver Union Station with happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 PM
