Adrift Tiki Bar

Adrift Tiki Bar is an island-themed cocktail bar with rum-centric, tropical drinks and Polynesian-inspired snacks.

It’s easy to feel like you’re on a beachy vacation at Adrift with a delicious cocktail or mocktail served in a fun cup. The space has indoor and outdoor seating, and the entire experience feels like you’re on a laid-back island.

Happy Hour: Tuesday all day; Wednesday & Thursday 5 to 7 PM

Hours: Tuesday - Thursday 5 to 11 PM, Friday & Saturday 4 PM to 12 AM

Yacht Club

Yacht Club is a sleek but casual cocktail lounge serving beer and wine. Although the decor is simple, its cozy and welcoming atmosphere is unlike any other, making it one of the most unique bars in Denver.

People rave about Yacht Club’s incredibly kind staff and delicious drinks. You can also enjoy a hot dog, with many options, including a classic and “Hollywood” frank.

If you like playing trivia, check out Yacht Club on Sundays. Trivia starts at 8 PM.

Choose from five of the best beers from one of Colorado’s craft breweries. Oakwell Beer Spa partners with a different local brewery each month. You can also enjoy wine, cider, kombucha, and tea.

Oakwell Beer Spa’s taproom has cozy couches and chairs and conversation cards, perfect for relaxing or socializing. You can stop by for a drink (or a few), hang out in the taproom, or book a beer-inspired spa day

Room for Milly

Room for Milly is the perfect spot to enjoy unique and classic cocktails, beer, wine, and zero-proof options. The decor and drinks are inspired by travel, ideal for travelers and dreamers. You can also enjoy small bites at Room for Milly. 

The indoor space with unique art and a charming outdoor terrace are perfect for relaxing and enjoying afternoon drinks or a nightcap. Room for Milly is also a great place to take fun photos.

Happy Hour: 3 - 6 PM daily

Death & Co

Death & Co is a cocktail bar that serves specialty drinks in a sophisticated space reminiscent of New York City. Its intimate cocktail lounge on The Ramble Hotel’s Mezzanine floor is classy and welcoming, while The Garden has a fun and lively atmosphere. 

It’s easy to find the perfect drink on Death & Co’s expansive cocktail menu with light, timeless, boozy, and non-alcoholic beverages. You can also enjoy snacks, shared plates, and entrees at Death & Co.

Hours: Vary by season, space, and menu

Reservations: Walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis; limited reservations available for parties of 7 or more

Millers & Rossi

Millers & Rossi is a dim-lit lounge hidden behind an art gallery. Enjoy tasty cocktails, small plates, and live music. Millers & Rossi is stunning, with creative decor, local art, and unique furniture.

The entire space has a fun atmosphere, and its Ohana Room is a tropical tiki getaway. Millers & Rossi is the perfect place for a ladies night in Denver, solo drinks, or a date night.

Diebolt Brewing Company

Diebolt Brewing Company is easily one of my favorites in Denver. While there are many breweries in the Mile High City, Diebolt offers one of the most unique experiences.
As a small, family-owned brewery, you feel like you’re at home. Diebolt is tucked away in the Sunnyside Neighborhood away from the city’s hustle, offering indoor and outdoor seating and frequent food trucks. The delicious beers are French-inspired, many of which have won awards, and Diebolt prides itself on being the most fun brewery.

Location: 3855 Mariposa St (Sunnyside)

Hours: Monday - Thursday 4 to 10 PM, Friday 2 to 10 PM, Saturday 12 to 10 PM, Sunday 12 to 9 PM

Retrograde

Retrograde serves incredible cocktails in a stylish retro lounge. It’s also hidden behind an ice cream parlor, making it one of the most unique bars in Denver for drinks and setting.

As a discreet cocktail bar without much of an online presence, Retrograde is truly a hidden gem in Denver. We highly recommend checking the space out, especially if you enjoy exploring off the beaten path. 

To get to Retrograde, you’ll go to Sweet Action, an easy-to-find ice cream spot, and then enter the bar through the back of the shop. Retrograde is a small space, but there’s usually seating available. You must be 21 or older to enter.

Location: 530 E. 19th Avenue (Uptown Denver) 

Hours: Sunday - Wednesday 5 PM to 12 AM, Thursday - Saturday 5 PM to 1 AM

The Copper Lounge

The Copper Lounge is an elegant cocktail bar in the iconic Denver Union Station, a historic railway station with shops and restaurants. Sip high-end cocktails or choose from an extensive wine list. The Copper Lounge also has a delicious menu with appetizers, salads, and unique entrees.

While enjoying drinks and food at The Copper Lounge, you can take in stunning views of Downtown Denver and the lively atmosphere of Union Station.

54Thirty Rooftop is the highest open-air rooftop bar in Denver. It’s on the 20th floor of Le Méridien hotel and offers scenic views of Denver’s skyline and mountain panorama.

You can enjoy crafted cocktails, globally inspired small plates, and a stunning sunset at 54Thirty Rooftop. The space is open year-round with fire pits during winter, but it does close during inclement weather.

Forest Room 5

Forest Room 5 is an eclectic lounge with artsy, rustic decor. There’s indoor seating in a quaint, quirky space and an outdoor area next to a flowing creek and surrounded by fire pits and tree trunk seating.

The menu at Forest Room 5 is expansive, with fun cocktails, various beers, appetizers, tacos, salads, and desserts.

Happy Hour: 4 to 5:30 PM daily

Hours: Tuesday & Wednesday 4 PM to 1:30 AM, Thursday - Saturday 4 PM to 1:45 AM
