Celebrating Three Years at Oakwell Beer Spa With Our Favorite Beers: February 2024

If you’re looking for something to do this February in Denver, Oakwell Beer Spa is the perfect place for a relaxing and unique experience. Oakwell is an award-winning day spa in Denver with beer-inspired spa services and a craft beer taproom.

In this article, we’ll discuss the Oakwell Beer Spa experience and which local beer you can enjoy this February. If you’re interested in something other than beer, we also serve wine, kombucha, cider, and tea.

A Unique Beer Selection This February

We usually partner with a Colorado brewery every month and share five of their best beers on tap. This February, we're celebrating Oakwell Beer Spa's three-year anniversary, so we're changing things up.

Oakwell Beer Spa thanks our guests and staff for contributing to our success over the past three years. Not only have we earned various awards, including TIME’s World’s Greatest Places and Thrillist’s Greatest Things to Do in Denver, but we’ve also been able to provide thousands of Denver locals and visitors with a memorable spa day experience.

To celebrate three years and our amazing staff, we’re featuring six veteran employees’ favorite beers on tap this February.

February Brews at Oakwell Beer Spa

Whether you like an easy-drinking Pilsner, fruity beers, or a classic Amber, there’s something for everyone this February at Oakwell Beer Spa.

1265 Pilsner – Left Hand Brewing

Pilsner, 5.2% ABV

The 1265 Pilsner is Oakwell Beer Spa’s Spakeeper Nicholas Goss’s favorite beer. Its light, bready malts are reminiscent of a freshly baked baguette. It has light notes of hop citrus with a subtle spicy flavor. You can pair the 1265 Pilsner with a relaxing spa day for an extra bit of fun!

February's Beer Bath Blend at Oakwell Beer Spa

Oakwell Beer Spa’s signature spa service is the Beer Bath Hydrotherapy – a tub filled with warm water and a rejuvenating beer bath blend. This February, the beer bath blend is made with our team’s favorite herb of the month, Hawthorn Leaf and Flower.

As you relax in a cedar hydrotherapy tub with thousands of tiny calming bubbles, you'll benefit from the herbal beer bath blend. Hawthorn Leaf and Flower comes from Spice Trade Brewing's Pilsner Wheat Malt and Magnum Hops. It alleviates body inflammation and redness while helping cleanse and heal for healthy skin that looks and feels great!

As you soak in your warm beer bath infused with a nourishing bath blend, you’ll also experience a sense of relaxation, better blood flow, and pain relief if needed.

Can I really drink beer during my spa treatments?

You can help yourself to the taps in the self-serve taproom and enjoy beer throughout your entire spa day. The only place we ask guests not to take drinks is the Relaxation Lounge, where you can get a Zero Gravity Massage.

What spa services does Oakwell offer?

Oakwell Beer Spa isn’t your traditional day spa with manicures, pedicures, and facials. Instead, you can treat yourself to unique spa services, including Beer Bath Hydrotherapy, an Infrared Sauna, and a Zero Gravity Massage.

If you book a private Beer Therapy™ Room, you’ll have access to a relaxation deck, rain shower, sauna, and cedar hydrotherapy tub.

The Beer Therapy™ Rooms are perfect for a two-person spa day, or we can join multiple rooms for a group or party spa package.

How does the self-serve beer wall work?

The self-serve beer wall is one of the most fun features at Oakwell Beer Spa. When you arrive, simply follow these steps:

  1. Receive your stainless steel tumbler and a card to scan and unlock the beverage wall.
  2. Check out the rotating selection of beers on tap. You’ll also find other beverages and tasting notes for all drinks, with the price per ounce.
  3. Choose your drink, scan your card, and pour any amount you’d like.
  4. When you’re ready to check out, head to the reception desk with your scan card to pay for the ounces you poured.

Can I just stop by for a beer without a spa treatment?

Guests are always welcome to stop by the taproom to enjoy a drink and hang out, with or without a spa day appointment.

Does Oakwell Beer Spa have anything else to drink besides beer?

We understand beer isn’t everyone’s thing, or sometimes you’re in the mood for something else. We also serve wine, cider, tea, and kombucha.

Can I hang out in the taproom before and after my treatments?

The taproom is perfect for relaxing before and after your spa treatments. Settle into a cozy sofa or chair, enjoy a drink (or a few), and unwind or use the conversation cards for a fun experience.
