• Lady Justice Brewing Company, located in Aurora, CO, was dreamed up by Betsy Lay, Kate Power, and Jen Cuesta during their service in AmeriCorps in 2010. They wanted to brew beer and give back to the community. Lay and her wife, Alison Wesneski, own the brewery today.
• The brewery’s mission is simple: brewing great beer to make the world a better place. It’s community-focused and dedicates time, space, and money to nonprofits and community partners that support and empower women, girls, and nonbinary people in Colorado.
• Lady Justice has given over $50,000 to 30+ organizations (and counting), including Frontline Farming, Dream Culture, Girl Rising, and Cleo Parker Robinson Dance – all organizations that support, empower, or educate for meaningful causes. 
• The brewery’s giving is focused in two direct ways: through their Community-Supporter Beer (CSB) Membership, with 100% of profits over cost going to nonprofit partners, and through the fabric of the taproom community, collaboration brews, and more.
• Lady Justice has several award-winning beers, including the La Maestra Margarita Gose, Chosen Family ESB, Heck Yeah! Hard Seltzer (Mango), and the Barrel-Aged Chosen Family ESB.
• The brewery has several fun traditions, like creating videos to show good times on their TikTok, enjoying staff get-togethers with food and beer education, and leadership team meetings to select their annual giving calendar.

Let’s dive into which delicious Lady Justice beers you can enjoy at Oakwell Beer Spa this month, with something for everyone. We have an easy-drinking seltzer and lager, hoppy IPAs, and an award-winning ESB.

Strawberry LaLager

Strawberry Hopped Lager, 4.5% ABV

The Strawberry LaLager is a light lager with strawberry puree brewed with Lala Queen in honor of drag queens everywhere. It’s refreshing, with a light strawberry flavor and crisp finish. The Strawberry LaLager is perfect for casually sipping while enjoying your spa day.

Heck Yeah! Pink Guava Seltzer

Hard Seltzer, 6.5% ABV

The Pink Guava Seltzer is easily crushable and perfect for non-beer drinkers. It was brewed in-house without gluten and made with mango puree. The Pink Guava Seltzer has a refreshing, crisp flavor and a dry finish. It’s so good it won the US Open Hard Seltzer Championship Bronze Medal in 2022!

Sandra Day IPA

West Coast IPA, 6% ABV

The Sandra Day IPA is a Lady Justice Flagship beer brewed with Azacca hops. It’s hop forward and finished with notes of pine and stone fruit. Pair the Sandra Day IPA with a fun spa day for the ultimate relaxation.

Sunday Best IPA

Hazy Pale Ale, 6.1% ABV

The Sunday Best IPA is a drinkable, hazy IPA that makes relaxing at the spa easy. It’s made with cashmere hops, which gives it a pillowy mouthfeel. It also has delicious notes of tropical and citrus fruits. 

Chosen Family ESB

English-Style Amber, 5.6% ABV

The Chosen Family ESB is a British classic malt-forward red ale. It has notes of biscuit, bread, caramel, and honey. It’s a unique beer you don’t often see in the craft beer scene, and it’s so delicious that it’s Lady Justice’s Head Brewer’s favorite beer. It’s also one of the brewery’s most successful beers and won The Tasting Alliance World Beer Competition Gold Medal in 2023.

March’s Beer Bath Blend at Oakwell Beer Spa

Oakwell Beer Spa’s signature spa treatment is the Beer Bath Hydrotherapy, where you relax in a cedar tub filled with warm, bubbly water. It’s also infused with a crafted blend of beneficial beer ingredients and herbs.

The nourishing beer bath contains vitamins, antioxidants, and nutrients that support relaxation and other wellness benefits. March’s beer bath blend uses Centennial hops, Carafe 2 malt, and Caramunich malt from Lady Justice’s Sandra Day IPA. It also features Tulsi, also known as Holy Basil, which has antioxidants that support healthy hair, skin, and nails.

Can I really drink beer during my spa treatments?

Of course! Beer helps relaxation, and we encourage our guests to enjoy a delicious beer or other beverage during your spa day. 

When you get to Oakwell Beer Spa, you’ll get a double-wall insulated stainless steel tumbler to use in the taproom and your private Beer Therapy™ Room. Your tumbler will keep your beverage chilled, even in the warm beer bath and sauna.

The only place we ask you not to take drinks is the Relaxation Lounge, where you can sit back and enjoy a Zero Gravity Massage experience.

What spa services does Oakwell offer?

Unlike your traditional day spa, Oakwell Beer Spa offers unique spa treatments, including Beer Bath Hydrotherapy, Infrared Sauna, and Zero Gravity Massage.

When you book a private Beer Therapy™ Room, you get access to a relaxation deck, rain shower, infrared sauna, and cedar hydrotherapy tub. We also have group and party spa day packages.

How does the self-serve beer wall work?

The self-serve beer wall lets you pour drinks at your leisure by following a few simple steps, which we’ll walk you through when you arrive.

1. Use the card you’ll receive upon arrival to scan and unlock the taps on the beverage wall.
2. Check out the rotating selection of Lady Justice Brewing beers on tap. You’ll also see other drinks, including wine and cider. The beer wall has tasting notes and the price per ounce for each beverage.
3. Select your drink, scan your card, and pour as much or as little as you’d like.
4. When you’re ready to check out, take your card to the receptionist to pay for the ounces you poured.

Can I just stop by for a beer without a spa treatment?

Guests can visit Oakwell Beer Spa with or without booking a spa appointment. Feel free to stop by and hang out in the taproom, where the self-serve beer wall is. 

The taproom has cozy furniture in a tranquil setting, ideal for enjoying a beer or a few. We also have conversation cards if you want to spend quality time chatting with a friend or loved one.

Does Oakwell Beer Spa have anything else to drink besides beer?

We know beer isn’t everyone’s thing, or sometimes you’re up for something else. You can also enjoy wine, cider, tea, and kombucha at Oakwell.

Can I hang out in the taproom before and after my treatments?

You’re more than welcome to hang out in the taproom for as little or as long as you’d like. It’s the perfect place to unwind before your spa treatments and relax after.
