Dine-in and take-out options are available at four price points: $25, $35, $45, and $55.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Get your green ready and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Denver on Saturday, March 16th.

The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of Denver’s longest-running traditions. Every year since 1962, the parade has gotten bigger and better. From floats and local celebrities to live bands and dancing, it’s a day filled with fun for everyone.

The parade takes place in Downtown Denver. It starts at Wynkoop St. and 19th Ave (Coors Field), turns southeast down 17th Ave, then turns northeast on Blake St. until 27th Ave.

The parade starts at 9:30 AM, but many people start settling in a few hours before to avoid traffic and get a spot to watch the parade. There are many nearby restaurants and bars to go to before, during, and after the parade.

There’s also a St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl after the parade with live music, free entry to the best bars in Denver, and food and drink specials.

Ticket prices range from $0 to $12. Friday is hero day, so military, veterans, police, and other first responders get free admission. Sunday is teacher appreciation, so educators and other school employees get free admission. Home industry workers and kids 12 and under are free all weekend. 

Visit the Denver Botanic Gardens

While the Denver Botanic Gardens is a beautiful place to visit year-round, March brings new blossoms and events. 

As one of North America's most diverse botanical gardens, Denver Botanic Gardens has seven major living plant collections and many themed gardens. There are also various kid and adult-friendly exhibits.

Explore Red Rocks Park

Red Rocks Park is about a half hour from Denver and the perfect place to go if you want to get outside. The park is an amazing place to explore and take pictures, with stunning red rock formations.

While it might be a bit chilly in March, and there may even be some snow, afternoons are usually sunny and the ideal temperature for getting outdoors.

See a Show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

The most iconic feature of Red Rocks Park is the amphitheater, an open-air theater surrounded by picturesque red rocks and mountain scenery. 

Shows at Red Rock Amphitheatre really start in April. However, there are two events you can attend in March: Boogie T on March 30th and an Easter Sunrise Service on March 31st.
