Appreciate Art at Denver Arts Week

Celebrate the local art scene at Denver Arts Week from November 1st through 10th. Enjoy festivities and discounts, including art walks, free museum entries, and arts week deals.

On November 1st, First Friday Art Walks kicks off the week. Explore creative neighborhoods like River North Arts District (RiNo) and the Art District on Santa Fe to shop and meet local artists. 

On November 2nd, local museums, including the Center for Colorado Women’s History, Denver Art Museum, and Four Mile Historic Park, are offering free admission.

Throughout the rest of the week, there are various discounts on admission, memberships, and art. For example, the School of Rock Denver is offering free 30-minute lessons, and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is giving 20% off performance tickets.

Go to a Bloody Mary Festival

Get festive at the 8th annual Bloody Mary Festival on November 3rd at ReelWorks Denver. Tickets start at $55.08 per person.

Spend the afternoon enjoying food and Bloody Marys from local restaurants and bars. There will also be fun photo ops and a Halloween costume party.

Attend the Veterans Day Festival at City Park

Honor the veterans who have served our country at City Park’s Veterans Day Festival on November 9th.

The Veterans Day Festival includes a 5K/10K, parade, and fun festivities with the following schedule:

  • 8:30 to 10:30 AM - 5K/10K Run or Walk and the 10K Rippetoe Rucksack Challenge
  • 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM - Denver Veterans Day Parade
  • 9:30 AM to 2 PM - Veterans Day Festival 

During the festival, enjoy local vendors offering veteran resources, delicious food, and fun activities for adults and children. 

Experience a Winter Wonderland at Cherry Creek North

Get into the holiday spirit at Cherry Creek North’s Winter Wonderland. Festivities begin November 21st and run through the holiday season.

Winter Wonderland is a collection of free outdoor festivities, and the area is lined with more than 600 trees with twinkling lights. You can also shop at the Holiday Market and enjoy drinks at the Mistletoe Lounge from November 21st through December 24th at the Fillmore Plaza.
