Lariat Lodge Brewing Company opened in 2015, with two locations in Colorado: Evergreen and Littleton. Before we dive into which of their beers you can enjoy at Oakwell Beer Spa this August, let's look at a few fun brewery facts.

• The brewery is named after the historic Lariat Loop, a 40-mile scenic bypass that starts in Golden and runs through Evergreen, Lakewood, and Morrison, CO. Both brewpubs are on the loop and have a cozy lodge feel with mountain scenery, outdoor seating, and delicious food.
• Lariat Lodge Brewing Company uses local products and scratch-made ingredients for their food and beer whenever possible. They also have a special menu for every fun holiday, including Oktoberfest and St. Patrick's Day.
• No matter what style of beer you like, Lariat Lodge Brewing Company has something you'll love, including classic ales, lagers, and IPAs. All beers are brewed and canned onsite. The can artwork is inspired by Colorado wildlife and hand-drawn by a local artist using chalkboard markers. 
• Not only are both Lariat Lodge Brewing Company’s locations pet-friendly, but the owners' dogs, Barley and Lari, are the brewery mascots. Barley and Lari are the inspiration for the Barking Blonde Ale and the Lazy EyePA.

Lazo Mexican Lager

4.6% ABV

The Lazo Mexican Lager is light and crisp, perfect for cooling down this summer. It's easy-drinking with slight corn notes and a hint of bitterness. This is the ideal beer to sip while relaxing at the spa.

Fruit For Thought

4.8% ABV

The Fruit For Thought is a peach cream ale. It's made with pureed peaches for a delicious sweetness and fruity flavor. This light, crushable beer is one of the best summer beers, especially while unwinding at Oakwell Beer Spa.

Ninety-Six IPA

5.0% ABV

The Ninety-Six IPA is made in collaboration with the Colorado Rapids. It's a session IPA with a smooth bitterness, a light and crisp body, and flavors and aromas of fruit and pine. This is a fan favorite for those who love hoppy beers but want a lower ABV. 

Hazy Boy IPA

7.0% ABV

The Hazy Boy IPA is a classic hazy with tropical flavors and a soft pillowy mouthfeel that enhances the juiciness. It’s refreshing and a fan-favorite summertime beer.

Angry Elk Amber Ale

5.8% ABV

The Angry Elk Amber Ale offers a harmonious blend of flavors. Its rich, caramelized malt backbone offers a touch of sweetness and a toasted biscuit-like flavor. Subtle hop notes and a moderate bitterness create a smooth and satisfying finish.

The Oakwell Beer Spa Experience

Oakwell Beer Spa offers a one-of-a-kind self-care experience that combines spa relaxation with locally brewed craft beer. When you book a spa day, you’ll get 90 minutes in a private spa suite known as a Beer Therapy Room. The space is designed for up to two people, and you can book multiple rooms for larger groups. 

Each Beer Therapy Room includes:

• Infrared Sauna to detox and promote healing
• Beer Bath Hydrotherapy to soak in warm water infused with hops, barley, and herbs that nourish your skin and relax your muscles
• Rain Shower to refresh before and after your soak

After your session, you can freshen up in the Vanity Room. You can also extend your visit with a Zero Gravity Massage in the Relaxation Lounge.

The self-serve taproom features beer, wine, cider, tea, and kombucha — all of which can be enjoyed during your spa experience. Oakwell Beer Spa’s flagship location in Five Points has a cozy indoor taproom, and the new location in Highlands Ranch has an indoor taproom and outdoor patio.

Can I really drink beer during my spa treatments?

You can drink beer or any other beverage during your spa treatments at Oakwell Beer Spa. When you arrive for your spa day, we’ll give you an insulated stainless steel tumbler to keep your beer (or a few) cold while you enjoy it. 

The only place we ask guests not to take drinks is the Relaxation Lounge, where you can enjoy a Zero Gravity Massage.

What spa services does Oakwell Beer Spa offer?

Oakwell Beer Spa offers unique services for ultimate relaxation. You can treat yourself to Beer Bath Hydrotherapy, Infrared Sauna, and a Zero Gravity Massage.

There are various spa packages to fit the experience you’re looking for, whether you’re enjoying solo self-care, relaxing with your partner, or having a spa day with friends. 

How does the self-serve beer wall work?

Oakwell Beer Spa’s self-serve beer wall is one of its most unique features. When you arrive for your appointment, we'll show you how to help yourself to the drink(s) of your choice. 

Simply follow these steps to use the self-serve beer wall:

1. Scan the card we’ll give you when you arrive to unlock the taps.
2. Check out the rotating selection of Lariat Lodge Brewing Company beers. You’ll also see tasting notes and the price per ounce for each drink.
3. Select your drink, scan your card, and pour the amount you’d like.
4. When you finish your spa day, take your card to the reception desk to pay for the ounces you poured.

Can I just stop by for a beer without a spa treatment?

We welcome guests to Oakwell Beer Spa whether or not you’ve booked a spa treatment. Our cozy taproom oasis is the perfect space to kick back, unwind, and enjoy a few drinks. 

Does Oakwell Beer Spa have anything else to drink besides beer?

We know beer isn’t everyone’s thing, or sometimes you’re in the mood for something else. That’s why we also have water, cider, wine, tea, and kombucha.

Can I hang out in the taproom before and after my treatments?

You’re welcome to spend as much time in the taproom as you’d like before or after your spa treatment. The peaceful space is perfect for relaxing, and we’d love for you to enjoy it.
