Cinco de Mayo is a day that celebrates Mexico's victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862 and its independence from Spain. The holiday takes place on May 5th every year. This year, it’s on a Sunday, but you can enjoy Cinco de Mayo events in Denver on Saturday and Sunday.

In this article, we’ll share how you can enjoy Cinco de Mayo in Denver in 2024, including both family-friendly and adult-only celebrations.
