Every month, Oakwell Beer Spa partners with a local Colorado brewery and serves five of their best beers. We’re excited to have Left Hand Brewing beers on tap this May.

• Left Hand Brewing was founded in 1993 in Longmont, Colorado, where the brewery, tasting room, and beer garden are located. Since then, they’ve also opened Left Hand Drinks & Eats in Denver’s River North Art District.
• It’s an independent craft brewery that’s veteran, employee, and community-owned.
• Left Hand is the most awarded Colorado brewery and one of the top in the U.S. They distribute beer in 46 states and internationally. 
• The first beer Left Hand ever brewed over 30 years ago was Sawtooth Amber Ale, which you can enjoy this May at Oakwell Beer Spa! The Sawtooth Amber Ale has won gold in the Great American Beer Festival and seven other medals over the years.
• Over the last 15 years, Left Hand has become well-known for its nitro beer innovations, including Milk Stout Nitro, Peanut Butter Milk Stout Nitro, and Belgian White Nitro, among others.
• Since the beginning, the brewery has prioritized building community and is dedicated to supporting the areas where they work, live, and play. Left Hand primarily focuses its efforts on its two community pillars: Team Left Hand and Left Hand Brewing Foundation. Team Left Hand raises funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. From easy-drinking to delicious, flavorful beers, there’s something for everyone this May at Oakwell Beer Spa.

1265 Pilsner

5.2% ABV

Pair your spa day with a classic, crushable pilsner. It’s crisp and lively, with delicate citrus hops and light, bready malts reminiscent of a freshly baked baguette. 

Belgian White

4.8% ABV

Enjoy a refreshing, slightly fruity, and spicy wheat beer. It has a classic, vibrant citrus zest flavor with delicate spice from the coriander and Belgian yeast.

Meyer Lemon Drop Shandy

5.5% ABV

You feel like you’re drinking sunshine when sipping the Meyer Lemon Drop Shandy. It’s sweet and slightly tangy, leaving a lingering lemon zest flavor. 

Juicy Goodness Hazy IPA

6.7% ABV

If you like bright and juicy IPAs, you’ll love the Juicy Goodness. It’s a slightly hazy golden ale with tropical fruit flavors, including pineapple, mango, and citrus zest. It also has floral and grassy hop notes.

Sawtooth Amber

5.3% ABV

The Sawtooth Amber is perfect for those who enjoy easy-drinking beers with mild hops. It’s a classic, balanced beer that’s fresh and drinkable – ideal for sipping while relaxing at the spa.

The Oakwell Beer Spa Experience

Oakwell Beer Spa offers a unique spa experience, where you can relax and enjoy craft beer and other beverages.

A spa day gives you access to the following:

• Cozy taproom - Hang out in the self-serve taproom before and after your spa treatments to enjoy drinks and snacks. There’s also comfortable seating, conversation cards, and a photo wall.
• Private spa room - The Beer Therapy Room can be booked for up to two people for 90 minutes. You can also book multiple rooms for more people. Each spa room has a beer bathtub, rain shower, infrared sauna, and relaxation deck.
• Relaxation lounge - Add on a zero-gravity massage experience, which takes place in a serene space-themed room. Lie back in a massage chair that uses NASA-inspired technology for a full-body massage for 15 or 30 minutes.
• Vanity room - Freshen up after your spa session in the vanity room. It has everything you need to get ready, including mirrors, makeup wipes, and hair dryers.

Can I really drink beer during my spa treatments?

You can absolutely drink beer during your spa treatments. When you arrive, you'll get an insulated stainless steel tumbler to keep your drink cold throughout your spa day. You can also refill at any time.

The only place we ask you not to take beverages is the Relaxation Lounge, where you can enjoy a zero-gravity massage experience.

What spa services does Oakwell Beer Spa offer?

At Oakwell Beer Spa, you can enjoy Beer Bath Hydrotherapy, an Infrared Sauna, and a Zero Gravity Massage.
We offer various spa packages to fit the experience you’re looking for, whether with your significant other, a friend, or a group.

How does the self-serve beer wall work?

When you arrive, we’ll walk you through how to use the self-serve beer wall following these simple steps:

1. Unlock the taps on the beverage wall using the scan card you’ll get when you arrive.
2. Explore the rotating selection of Left Hand Brewing beers with tasting notes and the price per ounce for each drink.
3. Choose a drink, scan your card, and pour your desired amount.
4. When you’re ready to check out, take your card to the reception desk to pay for the ounces you poured.

Can I just stop by for a beer without a spa treatment?

We love for guests to stop by with or without an appointment. The taproom welcomes walk-ins to come relax and drink.

Does Oakwell Beer Spa have anything else to drink besides beer?

If you’re not a beer drinker or you’re in the mood for something else, we’ve got you covered. Oakwell Beer Spa also has wine, cider, tea, and kombucha. 

Can I hang out in the taproom before and after my treatments?

You’re welcome to hang out in the taproom for as little or as long as you’d like before or after your appointment.
