Summer in Denver offers so much fun with festivals, concerts, cultural events, and sports. Below, we’ll share the best ways to enjoy Denver in June 2025, including the Juneteenth Music Festival, PrideFest, Coldplay in concert, and a live performance of Mamma Mia.

Outside Festival & Summit

When: May 31st and June 1st, 1 to 10 PM

Where: Civic Center Park

Cost: Tickets start at $75 for a single day, or you can get a two-day ticket starting at $99.

The Outside Festival & Summit celebrates the outdoors, focusing on accessibility and inclusion. Enjoy live music, adventure films, thought-provoking speakers, and immersive experiences. The event also includes the Outside Summit, a premier networking event for the outdoor industry.

Where: Buell Theater at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts

Cost: Tickets start at $47.20

Enjoy a fresh take on Shakespeare's classic with & Juliet. This musical was created by the Emmy-winning writer from “Schitt’s Creek” and reimagines Juliet's story with a modern twist and a pop-infused soundtrack. 

Denver Botanic Gardens

One of the best outdoor activities in Denver is visiting the Botanic Gardens. Not only is it a great place to spend time outside, but you can also enjoy the following events in June:

  • Wild Edibles & Medicinal Garden Tour - Explore the new edible and medicinal plants and learn about their traditional uses (June 4th, 9:30 AM to 12 PM)
  • Raptor Day - Meet live raptors and learn about their journeys with the Raptor Education Foundation (June 6th, 9 AM - 1 PM)
  • Poppies in Pastel Art Workshop - Take a hands-on art class for adults and create pastel drawings inspired by blooming poppies (June 7th and 14th at 9:30 AM)
  • Watershed Summit 2025 - Attend an annual event that focuses on water conservation, sustainability, and regional watershed issues, followed by a happy hour (June 20th at 1 PM)
  • Evening Yoga Sessions - Join a gentle yoga class held outside in the Gardens (every Wednesday in June at 5:30 PM)
  • Evenings al Fresco - Local musicians perform throughout the Gardens in a relaxed setting (various days)

AEW Fyter Fest

When: June 4th at 5:30 PM

Where: Mission Ballroom

Cost: Tickets start at $59

All Elite Wrestling's Fyter Fest returns with a four-hour marathon of professional wrestling. Watch women and men wrestle for a fun, high-energy evening in Denver this June. 

Denver Chalk Art Festival

When: June 7th and 8th, 10 AM to 8 PM

Where: Golden Triangle Creative District

Cost: Free entry

The Denver Chalk Art Festival is known as Denver’s most colorful event! More than 200 artists transform city streets into a vibrant, open-air gallery using pastel chalks. 

This family-friendly event celebrates creativity and community. There will also be food and drink vendors, a Kids Corner, and an Artist Awards Ceremony.

Film on the Rocks

When: June 9th, 23rd, and 30th at 7 PM

Where: Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Cost: $25

Film on the Rocks shows classic films under the stars at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Movies during June include:

  • 2001: A Space Odyssey on June 9th
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl on June 23
  • Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on June 30

Coldplay: Music of the Spheres World Tour

When: June 10th at 6 PM

Where: Empower Field at Mile High

Cost: Tickets start at $265

If you’re looking to enjoy live music in Denver in June, Coldplay is playing at Empower Field, the city’s largest venue. There will also be a TBA mystery guest for their Music of the Spheres World Tour Denver show. 

Juneteenth Music Festival

When: June 15th and 16th, 12 to 8 PM

Cost: Free entry or $25 for VIP access

Denver’s Juneteenth Music Festival is one of the nation's largest Juneteenth celebrations, with the city’s longest-running parade dating back to the 1950s. The festival will also feature live performances, art, vendors, and fun for the entire family.

Andrea Bocelli

When: June 17th at 8 PM

Where: Ball Arena

Cost: Tickets start at $166

See Andrea Bocelli, a world-renowned tenor, perform at Ball Arena this summer. He’ll perform a selection of classical and contemporary pieces for an unforgettable evening. 

Denver Cherry Blossom Festival

When: June 21st, 11 AM to 6 PM and June 22nd, 11 AM to 4 PM

Where: Sakura Square

Celebrate Japanese-American culture at the 51st annual Denver Cherry Blossom Festival. Enjoy taiko drumming, traditional food, sake, and artisan crafts. The Denver Cherry Blossom Festival offers a blend of cultural performances and culinary delights, with something fun for everyone to enjoy this June in Denver.

Civic Center EATS

When: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11 AM - 2 PM

Where: Civic Center Park

Cost: Free entry; food and drink costs vary

Civic Center EATS is a fun lunchtime tradition in Denver in June. Various food trucks serve up diverse cuisines for the perfect midweek break for food lovers in downtown Denver. Grab food to-go or stay at the park and eat to enjoy Denver’s warm summer weather.

Mamma Mia!

When: June 25th - 29th, times vary

Where: Buell Theater at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts

Cost: Tickets start at $41.30

Sing along to one of the best romantic comedy musicals, Mamma Mia! This heartwarming story of love and family has been around for nearly 25 years, and you can enjoy a live performance at the beautiful Buell Theater. 

USWNT vs. Ireland Friendly

When: June 26th at 7 PM

Where: Dick’s Sporting Goods Park

Cost: Tickets start at $78

See some of the best international soccer in action this summer when the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team plays Ireland at Dick’s Sporting Good Park in preparation to qualify for the next Women’s World Cup. 

Metallica: M72 World Tour

When: June 27th and 29th at 6 PM

Where: Empower Field at Mile High

Cost: Tickets start at $76.50

Metallica returns with their M72 World Tour, with two nights of heavy metal. These concerts are a part of their “No Repeat Weekend,” so each night will feature a unique setlist and different support acts. Acts include Pantera, Suicidal Tendencies, Limp Bizkit, and Ice Nine Kills. 

Denver PrideFest

When: June 28th, 11 AM to 7 PM and June 29th, 11 AM to 6 PM

Where: Civic Center Park

Cost: The entire event is free, aside from food and beverage tickets

Denver’s PrideFest is the largest in the Rocky Mountain region, bringing in over 500,000 visitors annually. The festivities include the Coors Light Denver Pride Parade, a 5K run, live entertainment, and a vibrant vendor marketplace. 

South Pearl Farmers’ Market

When: Sundays, 9 AM - 1 PM

Where: South Pearl Street & East Arkansas Avenue

Cost: Free entry; costs of products vary
Since 2001, the South Pearl Farmers Market has been a staple for fresh, local produce and artisanal goods. There are also food trucks and live music. Spend your Sunday strolling through the market, supporting local vendors, and enjoying a welcoming atmosphere.
