You get access to a private Beer Therapy™ Room at Oakwell Beer Spa. You’ll find a relaxation deck, infrared sauna, rain shower, and beer bath in this room. Our most notable treatment is the beer bath, where guests soak in a tub of water that’s infused with hops, malts, and herbs. We also have a Relaxation Lounge, which features Zero Gravity Massage chairs.

Now for the fun stuff! What makes this day spa so unique?

Oakwell Beer Spa was founded by a husband and wife team.

 

Husband and wife team, Jessica French and Damien Zouaoui are a French-American couple who met in 2016. They quickly realized they were destined to be together, both professionally and personally.

At the time, Jessica and Damien lived in New York City and enjoyed brainstorming business ideas in their apartment over a pint of beer. One day, they decided to quit their jobs, pack their bags, and head off on a trip around the world to find the perfect business idea.

And they did! 

This day spa is the product of a 14-month adventure across 25 countries.

That’s right, Jessica and Damien spent over a year traveling to 25 countries on a quest for their dream business idea. They took on every experience as a fun adventure while examining each business model. From Mario Kart racing in Tokyo to RV sharing apps in the UK, they had an amazing and insightful journey exploring as much as possible.

The idea of Oakwell Beer Spa was born in Poland.

The concept of this unique day spa was born one day when Jessica and Damien were hanging out in a mountain town in Poland, Zakopane. It was raining, and they were looking for a fun indoor activity. 

They found a beer spa close by and were instantly captivated. It wasn’t long before they were soaking in a bubbly beer bath, enjoying unlimited Polish beers. 

This experience in Poland led them to realize that wellness, craft beer, and community could join together to become an excellent business venture. They set out to learn more about spa and bathing cultures worldwide. Before they knew it, they were creating a business plan for their very own beer spa.

What’s incredible about Oakwell Beer Spa in Denver, Colorado is that it’s the very first of its kind. This modern-day spa has taken concepts of traditional day spas worldwide and put a remarkable spin on them.
