Fun Facts About Lone Tree Brewing Company

Before we dive into which Lone Tree beers you can enjoy this July at Oakwell Beer Spa, let’s check a few fun brewery facts.

• Lone Tree Brewing Company’s first location opened in 2011 in Lone Tree, Colorado. Its second location recently opened in 2024 in Parker, Colorado.
• John Winter, the CEO and Founder of Lone Tree Brewing Company, was a commercial airline pilot for many decades. His experience trying beers from their respective origins inspired him to bring that to the local Lone Tree community.
• The brewery isn’t only about beer; they’re about bringing people together in a neighborhood-focused, family-friendly atmosphere. Their two locations have regular community events, including local craft markets, live music, and trivia. Pets are also welcome!
• Lone Tree Brewing Company has several award-winning beers. Their Mexican Lager and American Light Lager have won a few medals at the Great American Beer Festival. Their Hop Zombie, Peach Pale Ale, Fruit Beer, and Imperial Red Ale have each also won a medal at the Great American Beer Festival.

Lime Mexican Lager

Mexican-style Lager, 5.3% ABV

This limited series beer is a refreshing take on a traditional Mexican lager. It offers a delicious lime character with a clean, crisp base. It’s perfect for cooling off and relaxing on a summer day at the spa.

Blueberry Blonde

Blonde Ale, 5.2% ABV

If fruit-forward beers are your style, you’ll love the Blueberry Blonde. It’s a refreshing blonde ale enhanced with blueberries, creating the perfect amount of sweetness, making for a delicious twist on a classic ale that’s well-balanced and refreshing.

Sidespin IPA

Juicy IPA, 6.1% ABV

The Side Spin IPA is a unique blend with a Juicy IPA base and a hop profile reminiscent of a west-coast IPA. It’s drinkable, aromatic, and flavorful, making for a fun addition to your spa day.

Peach Pale Ale

Fruited Pale Ale, 5.8% ABV

The Peach Pale Ale mixes aromatic hops with ripened peaches for a refreshing take on an American classic. Enjoy citrus aromas from Northwest hops and the finest pale malts from the Midwest. The Peach Pale Ale pours deep golden with a medium body, approachable bitterness, and stone fruit flavor.

Red Ale

American Amber, 6.0% ABV

This dark, full-bodied Irish-style red ale is rich and flavorful, brewed with crystal and chocolate malts for notes of roasted caramel and a lightly toasted finish. Balanced English hops add subtle woody fruit character without bitterness. Enjoy its light toffee sweetness and smooth, roasty finish while relaxing at the spa.

The Oakwell Beer Spa Experience

Oakwell Beer Spa is one of the most unique spas in Denver. It’s the ideal place to experience a relaxing spa day. The cozy taproom oasis is perfect for relaxing and sipping refreshing beverages, including local craft beer, wine, cider, tea, and kombucha. You can also enjoy your drinks during your spa treatments.

When you book your spa day, you get access to a private spa suite known as a Beer Therapy Room for 90 minutes. The room is for one or two people, or you can book multiple rooms that can be joined together for more people.

The Beer Therapy Rooms offer a calm atmosphere where you can treat yourself to the following:

• Infrared Sauna - Sweat and detox while infrared waves penetrate straight to the cellular level of your body to help you release toxins and promote healing
• Rain Shower - Take a cold shower after the sauna to prepare for your beer bath, then take a warm, cleansing shower using Oakwell Beer Spa’s luxurious shower products
• Beer Bath Hydrotherapy - Relax in a hydrotherapy tub filled with warm, bubbly water infused with a nourishing blend of herbs and beneficial beer ingredients, hops and barley 

After your Beer Therapy Room session, you can use the Vanity Room, which has everything you need to freshen up after your spa day. To extend your spa day experience, you can enjoy a Zero Gravity Massage in the Relaxation Lounge.

Can I really drink beer during my spa treatments?

You can drink beer while enjoying any spa treatment at Oakwell Beer Spa, except for the Zero Gravity Massage experience. When relaxing in the taproom or your private spa room, you can enjoy beer or other beverages.

When you arrive, you’ll get an insulated stainless steel tumbler to keep your drink(s) cold throughout your spa day. During your spa treatments, you can use the ringbell system for a refill.

What spa services does Oakwell Beer Spa offer?

Oakwell Beer Spa's unique services include Beer Bath Hydrotherapy, an Infrared Sauna, and a Zero Gravity Massage.

Various packages are available to suit your ideal spa experience, whether with a friend, a date night, or a group get-together.

How does the self-serve beer wall work?

Enjoy one of the best self-serve beer experiences in Denver with Oakwell Beer Spa’s beverage wall. When you arrive, we’ll guide you through the following steps:

1. Use the scan card we’ll give you to unlock the taps on the beverage wall.
2. Explore the rotating selection of Lone Tree Brewing Company beers with tasting notes and the price per ounce for each beverage.
3. Choose your drink, scan your card, and pour your desired amount.
4. When you’re ready to check out, take your card to the reception desk to pay for the ounces you poured.

Can I just stop by for a beer without a spa treatment?

You’re more than welcome to stop by whether you’re enjoying a spa treatment or not. The cozy taproom is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a drink or a few.

Does Oakwell Beer Spa have anything else to drink besides beer?

We know beer isn’t everyone’s thing, or you might be in the mood for something else, so we also have water, wine, tea, cider, and kombucha.

Can I hang out in the taproom before and after my treatments?

Feel free to hang out in the taproom for as little or as long as you’d like! You can arrive early or stay after your appointment to hang out and rest.
