What is Prost Brewing Company?

Prost Brewing Company is a family-owned brewery that opened in 2012. It’s located in Northglenn, Colorado, and there are three beer gardens in Northglenn, Highlands Ranch, and Denver. There’s also a taproom in Fort Collins where you can enjoy Prost Brewing’s beers.

The brewery is dedicated to creating “German craft bier perfection.” Their mission is to brew German-style beers that are so good that they foster a sense of community.

This September, you can enjoy a range of German-style beers from Prost Brewing, from easy-drinking to flavorful.

Pilsner

North German-style Lager, 4.9% ABV

Pair your spa day with an easy-drinking German Pilsner that perfectly balances the best German malts and noble hops. The Pilsner has a refreshing hop character and a clean malt profile, making it a drinkable beer with a crisp finish.

Hefeweizen

German-style Wheat Ale, 5% ABV

The Hefeweizen is a tasty balance of banana, clove, and spice flavors. It’s an award-winning beer and one of the most enjoyed beers at Prost. The yeast is hand-selected to produce a dynamic and enjoyable drinking experience.

Maibock

Helles Bock-style Lager, 6.7% ABV

The Maibock has a lemongrass and toasted hazelnut malt flavor and moderate bitterness from authentic German hops. Enjoy a pillowy mouthfeel, citrus and herbal aromas, and a grassy, sweet malt finish.

Märzen

Oktoberfest-Style Lager, 5.8% ABV

Celebrate Oktoberfest with the Märzen while relaxing at the spa. Enjoy its light, nutty, bready notes mixed with punchy malt notes that waver between sweet and dry. Its clean finish offers earthy hop flavors.

Dunkel

German-Style Dark Lager, 5.6% ABV

If you enjoy dark beers, the Dunkel is a must-try! It has roasted chocolate and nutty flavors, and its Munich barley gives it a smooth, malty finish. It also has a moderate bitterness to balance out the sweetness.

September’s Beer Bath Blend at Oakwell Beer Spa

Beer Bath Hydrotherapy is Oakwell Beer Spa’s signature spa treatment. You can relax in a cedar tub filled with warm, bubbly water infused with a nourishing blend of beneficial beer ingredients and herbs.

The nourishing bath blend has vitamins, antioxidants, and nutrients that support relaxation and other wellness benefits. September’s beer bath blend is made with Munich Malt and Hallertau Hops from Prost Brewing’s Dunkel.

The blend is also made with sage, which has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties to soothe the skin. Enjoy the ultimate skincare and relaxation all in one!

Can I really drink beer during my spa treatments?

At Oakwell Beer Spa, you can drink beer or any other beverage to support relaxation. When you arrive for your spa day, you’ll get an insulated stainless steel tumbler to keep your beer (or a few) cold while you enjoy it. 

The only place we ask you not to take drinks is the Relaxation Lounge, where you can enjoy a Zero Gravity Massage.

What spa services does Oakwell Beer Spa offer?

Unlike traditional day spas, Oakwell Beer Spa offers unique treatments. You can enjoy Beer Bath Hydrotherapy, an Infrared Sauna, and a Zero-Gravity Massage.

The Beer Therapy Ritual package gives you access to a private Beer Therapy Room for up to two people. If you have a larger group, you can choose the Garage Party Package or rent the entire space for a private party.

How does the self-serve beer wall work?

The self-serve beer wall is one of Oakwell Beer Spa’s most fun features. When you arrive at the spa, a receptionist will show you how it works, following these simple steps:

1. Unlock the taps with the scan card you’ll receive when you arrive.
2. Browse the taps with Prost Brewing Company’s beers. You’ll also see wine, cider, tea, and kombucha. Each drink will show tasting notes and the price per ounce.
3. Choose your drink, scan your card, and pour whatever amount you’d like.
4. When you’re ready to check out, take your scan card to the front desk. You’ll pay for the ounces poured throughout your spa experience.

Can I just stop by for a beer without a spa treatment?

You’re more than welcome to stop by for a drink whether or not you book a spa service. The taproom has comfortable seating, conversation cards, and a photo wall, ideal for hanging out and having a drink or a few.

Does Oakwell Beer Spa have anything else to drink besides beer?

We understand you might not be into beer or be in the mood for something different. That’s why we also have water, cider, wine, tea, and kombucha.

Can I hang out in the taproom before and after my treatments?

Please hang out in the taproom for however long you’d like. You can arrive early or stay after your appointment to continue relaxing.
